The Performance of the All-New Kia Optima Hybrid

The all new Kia Optima Hybrid has quite the new look. It features a slick angled front grille and also a rising rear compartment with a very spacious trunk and new taillights.

The Optima isn't keeping anything secret under the hood like most cars of its size and class as it features a fuel efficient 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine, connected to a six speed automatic.

Q2 Profits for Kia Up Nearly 70 Percent

At the end of July, Kia posted a consolidated net profit of 1.1-trillion Korean won (approximately $1-billion), for Q2 2011, exceeding forecasts by 187-billion Korean won (about $178-million). Talk about impressive! Achieving even 913-billion Korean won would have been noteworthy. And, to top it all off, in the U.S. alone, Kia succeeded in gaining nearly one full percent of market share in Q2.
