By the end of September, Kia had beaten all of their previously sales records - with a few months left in the calendar year.

Kia Motors America (KMA) announced that as of September, they have set new sales records for 13 months in a row. The 18.4-percent (35,609 units) increase over this time last year is largely due to sales of the Kia Sorento, and  Kia Optima.

In their 16^th straight year of growth, Kia continues to improve their product and image, reinvesting their profits into the U.S. job market. Last year, we saw the first Kia Sorento roll off the production line at Kia Motor America's West Point, Georgia plant. Shortly following the Kia Sorento was 2012 Kia Optima, also produced in America. Both vehicles have become best-sellers in the U.S. market, reinforcing Kia's continued expansion and commitment to economic growth.
