The Kia Forte has received some terrific auto reviews in its class for 2011 & 2012. However, it is not the only vehicle making the news these days. The Kia Optima Hybrid just finished a world record drive, proving it can outlast any of the competition.
The Kia Optima Hybrid traveled through the entire continental United States, over 7,899 miles, while recording an average fuel economy of 64.55 miles per gallon! This beats the vehicle's EPA highway rating by 61%. The trip took a total of 14 days and averaged 564 miles driven each day. Optima hybrid consumed only 5.5 tanks of gasoline, and traveled an average of 1,418 miles between each fill up.
"While traveling across the United States the Optima Hybrid experienced temperatures ranging from more than 118 degrees Fahrenheit to less than freezing point." Kia's senior executive vice president and chief operating officer Thomas Oh said in a statement.1
This makes it the perfect time to check out all new Kia models at Stockton Kia, located at 3077 E Hammer Lane, Stockton CA, 95212.
