holy smoke best subcompact CUV

I have the S version with few added options. compared with HR-V and CX-3 Seltos beat both in every categories of comfort, features, and size. I just needed a basic commuter with AWD and Android Auto but got whole lot of car for the money. dizzying amount of safety features and comfortable rides make this a absolute best in the category of both sub/compact. rear and cargo has huge amount of space and compatible with that of the new RAV4. I went with lower trim for 17 inch wheel for comfort and lower maintenance of none turbo engine. IVT/CVT works really good in the Seltos as I can't really tell it's a CVT in normal driving situation and it's buttery smooth. 2.0 with IVT has plenty of power for my needs. Only thing I don't like is the inability to turn off the start/stop system. it's really annoying in heavy traffic situation. - 5.0
Great vehicle for the price

I've had the SX Turbo for 4 months. No problems to date. It has all the technology I could ask for except cooled seats. Love the smart cruise control! Lane departure assist is fine. It also has lane following assist, which steers for you, keeping you centered in your lane. I don't care for it because it tends to weave back and forth within the lane, so I turn it off. Seat is comfortable even on longer trips. Turbo provides decent power. It's fun to drive in sport mode. Great value for under $30k. - 5.0

I had been car shopping for the last 6 months and nothing had really stood out. I liked the Telluride but it just wasn’t practical choice for me as I didn’t need 3 rows. I accidentally stumbled upon the Seltos online and legitimately thought it was a Luxury Brand’s subcompact SUV. It has the styling and appearance of a Range Rover Evoque and compares well to any luxury subcompact. The interior quality isn’t the best, but it isn’t a let down either. I have the SX model, and let me say it is very difficult to find a vehicle with these safety and electronic offerings at this price. The creature comforts are outstanding and work fairly well, Lane Centering leaves something to be desired but does well enough. Cabin noise when driving on the highway is fairly loud, but not overbearing. Performance with the Turbo engine let’s you feel the gains in HP from the standard engine offering, it gives you that boost once you hit the higher RPMs. I’m not a fan of their marketing of it being an off-road vehicle, the transmission overheats fairly easily when pushing the vehicle off-road so if that’s what you’re looking for in a vehicle this isn’t for you. I travel fairly frequently for work and when it comes to a daily driver both city and highway, gas mileage is very impressive. Right around 32mpg on my long trips traveling highway, and about 25mpg in the city. A very very good value buy for anyone in the market for a compact/subcompact SUV.
