Kia Carnival SUVs Against the Competition
How does our new Kia Carnival compare to the competition?
At Kia of Stockton, we've proudly serve families from Modesto to Manteca over the years, so we understand just how important it can be to find a spacious, safe, and comfortable ride for all your daily drives. Luckily, few cars out there today fit those specifications quite like the new Kia Carnival for sale here at our Stockton, CA showroom. This capacious eight-passenger vehicle is one of the best options out there for growing families in our little corner of California. And if you needed further proof of its excellence, read on to see how the new Kia Carnival stacks up to rivals like the new Honda Odyssey and Nissan Pathfinder.

Kia Carnival vs. Honda Odyssey
- Luggage Space: While both the new Kia Carnival and Honda Odyssey can comfortably accommodate up to eight passengers, that doesn't necessarily mean that they're equally roomy on the inside. For example, if you look behind the third-row seating of both models, you'll find up to 40.2 cubic-feet of cargo space in the new Kia Carnival, perfect for everything from beach blankets and coolers to bookbags and groceries. By comparison, the Honda Odyssey has you make do with just 32.8 cubic-feet of luggage space behind its third row.
- Cabin Comfort: One of our favorite features on the new Kia Carnival is its available 2nd-Row VIP Lounge Seats, which offer supreme comfort to second row riders with a full recline function and raised power footrests, not to mention heating and ventilation to keep you comfortable in all climates, While the second-row of the new Honda Odyssey may slide forward and back, it offers little that can match the comfort of the VIP seating in the new Kia Carnival.
- Slide-Flex Seating: One other neat feature of the new Kia Carnival is the available Slide-Flex Seating, which allows the second-row middle seat to slide forward to make it easier for front seat passengers to access it, making it a great fit for parents of smaller children who want to keep a close eye on them during longer car rides. For added utility, that seat can also be folded down for us as a table by second and third row passengers. As of yet, there are no features on the new Honda Odyssey that can match the utility of Slide-Flex Seating.
Kia Carnival vs. Nissan Pathfinder
- Technology: The Kia Carnival is one of the newer additions to our new Kia portfolio and the new Nissan Pathfinder recently underwent a significant redesign, so both offer robust suites of available tech. However, as impressive as the new 12.3-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system on the new Nissan Pathfinder can be, it pales in comparison to the dual 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and instrumentation on the new Kia Carnival.
- PassengerView with Night Vision: If you're looking to keep a close eye on your little ones on a longer trip, the new Kia Carnival offers PassengerView with Night Vision, providing a high definition camera view of the rear seats of the vehicle for the driver and passenger up front. As of yet, the new Nissan Pathfinder does not have any features that could match that innovative technology.
- Power: While the new Nissan Pathfinder may be an SUV, it's not all that sporty. In fact, with just 284 horsepower, it lags slightly behind the new Kia Carnival which offers up to 290 horsepower standard.
