Performance
Powering every Telluride is a naturally aspirated V-6 engine that outputs 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that powers the front wheels, though all-wheel drive is optional on every trim.
With only a V-6 engine available, the Telluride is a strong SUV with a tow rating of around 5,000 pounds. The Telluride is fuel-efficient, too, as according to the EPA, it has a fuel economy of about 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Though with all-wheel-drive equipped, those numbers drop to 19 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
Design
