Premium Trim Levels
The 2024 Kia Niro Hybrid comes with a choice of five different trims. Apart from the standard LX trim, the following options are also available. The EX trim offers excellent value. It comes standard with roof rails, a wireless charging pad, heated front seats, ambient lighting, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen. The EX Touring comes with all the EX features plus larger 18-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, a power sunroof, aluminum sports pedals, and gloss black interior trim.
The SX trim also comes with a hands-free tailgate, a seven-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, driver's seat memory settings, a heated steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, a gloss black rear spoiler, and a satin chrome window trim. The SX Touring is the most premium trim. It comes standard with everything else already mentioned and adds black-accented alloy wheels, LED headlights, and a perforated leather interior.
Elegant and Sophisticated Design
With seating for up to five people, the Kia Niro Hybrid features 39.8 inches of rear-seat legroom and 41.5 inches of front-seat legroom. It offers 63.7 cubic feet of cargo space with rear seats folded. The basic LX trim is available in steel gray, graphite gray, runway red, snow white pearl, and aurora black pearl; it also comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels. The EX and EX Touring trims are available in cityscape green and mineral blue. Finally, the SX and SX Touring trims come with an additional black aeroblade option for the cityscape green and mineral blue color schemes. Inside the cabin, the LX trim uses charcoal woven cloth. Both the EX and EX Touring come with either charcoal or gray SynTex trim. Finally, the SX and SX Touring are available in perforated charcoal and perforated charcoal and gray SynTex trims.
Efficient Performance
The 2024 Niro Hybrid combines a 1.6-liter gas engine with an electric motor to deliver 139 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The 11.1-kWh battery stores enough electricity to drive approximately 33 miles on a single charge, after which it will switch to the gas engine. The regenerative braking technology will generate a small amount of power every time you push down on the brakes. Plus, the 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission delivers a smooth and nimble driving experience. According to EPA estimates, the Kia Niro Hybrid LX trim can achieve a fuel economy of 53 MPG in the city and 54 MPG on the highway under ideal conditions. The EX Touring and SX Touring trims may only achieve 45 MPG on the highway.
Advanced Features
The upscale Kia Niro Hybrid comes standard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, a 4.3-inch instrument display, Bluetooth connectivity, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Voice recognition, remote start, and Kia Connect, which enables you to set cabin temperature and monitor performance from a single app, come standard on everything except the basic LX trim.
